Lemons provide:

Apples provide:
- Vitamin E for hydration and soft, smooth skin;
- Vitamin C;
- Other nutrients.
Here are a few ways you can use both in your natural DIY skincare regimen.
Apple, Lemon & Yogourt Cleansing Cream
1/4 apple, peeled & cored
2 tablespoons Greek yogourt
1 teaspoon raw honey
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon coconut oil
- Add all the ingredients to a blender and pulse until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
- Apply to your face in circular motions, massaging it into your skin for about 3 to 5 minutes.
- Rinse thoroughly with warm water, and follow with your favorite moisturizer.
Moisturizing Mask
1 egg yolk
1 tablespoon honey
1 apple slice, peeled & cored
1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Purée the apple slice in a blender.
- Beat the egg yolk, gradually adding the remaining ingredients, including the apple puree.
- Apply to your face and neckline, and leave in place for about 20 minutes.
- Rinse off with warm water.
Apple Lemon Milk Moisturizing Mask
1 apple, peeled & cored
1 lemon, zest only
3 tablespoons powdered milk
- Cut the apple into chunks, and purée in a food processor.
- Add the lemon zest and powdered milk, and pulse until the mixture is smooth.
- Apply to your face and neck, and leave in place for about 15 minutes.
- Rinse off with warm water.
