Happy April! This month we are focusing on sustainability as Earth Day approaches. Limoneira® Lemons are an incredibly versatile fruit and can even be used for things like cleaning and fun DIY projects with the kiddos!
One of Ella’s favorite things to do with juiced Limoneira® lemons, is to use them as a stamp for painting. Each juiced lemon acts as an individual stamp or “paint brush” perfect to include all the colors you want! Painting with lemons is an easy and cheap way to reduce food waste and have fun!
One of my favorite things about this painting activity is that you can cover an entire table with paper, which gives your kids a huge space for creativity and painting! The perfect indoor activity for rainy spring days.
See below to view or print this recipe! If you paint with your juiced lemons, please share a photo on Instagram and tag me @HealthyGroceryGirl so I can easily find and like your creations! It’s so fun to connect with you and see what recipes you’re enjoying.
